Carboxytherapy is a non-injection (non-invasive) method of rejuvenating the skin of the face and neck using concentrated carbon dioxide.
How does carboxytherapy help?
Because one of the causes of premature aging of the skin is insufficient oxygen in the tissues and, as a result, a decrease in the level of natural collagen production. Non-injection carboxytherapy enhances blood microcirculation, oxygen saturation, and also improves lymphatic and venous outflow. Why does this happen? An excess of carbon dioxide on the skin provokes local oxygen starvation, which forces the body to increase metabolic processes. The higher the concentration of CO2, the more actively hemoglobin gives off oxygen, saturating the dermis with it.
What is the effect of carboxytherapy?
The carboxy facial procedure stimulates natural metabolic processes in the body, which is why completing a full course of therapy guarantees:
- evening out skin tone and color, increasing its natural elasticity;
- elimination of inflammatory processes on the skin and lightening of post-acne spots;
- elimination of dark circles and bags under the eyes;
- elimination of edema;

Contraindication

- persistent high pressure
- acute inflammatory processes of the skin;
- any chronic disease in the acute stage;
- pregnancy and breastfeeding.
What is this carboxytherapy procedure?
Carboxytherapy of the face does not involve the use of needles or other instruments that violate the integrity of the skin. During the procedure, a special gel and an activator mask are used for it. After initial cleaning, they are applied alternately to the skin. After 20-25 minutes, the cosmetologist removes the mask and applies SPF cream.
It is important to note that the use of carboxy does not require a recovery period. After the therapy, there is no redness and swelling. It is not for nothing that it is called the weekend procedure.
