In some cases, for greater diagnostic accuracy, the cervix is additionally treated with special substances. This allows the doctor to get more reliable information and establish an accurate diagnosis.
- Ultrasound diagnosis of pelvic organs. Such an examination is necessary in case of suspicion of polyps, endometrial hyperplasia, endometriosis, small fibromatous nodes up to 1 cm, which simply cannot be felt during a manual examination.
After completing the examination, the gynecologist enters the obtained results into the patient's personal medical record and discusses with him (if necessary) the possible directions of treatment.

Before the visit to the gynecologist, it is necessary to take a shower and put on clean underwear. It is not recommended to douche or use intimate gels and deodorants before the examination.
